Initially the coal washing factoty was opened and registered in Noor city.due to updated technology and development of more production volume and geographical location in terms of coal mines ,a factory was established in kerman province.it was transferred to the city where two smelting plants were establishment of the plant and three coking plants in tabriz which are now in production with projected capacity.The company is also the first coal exporter in Iran due to its high quality and product quality.

Noor Coal Company was founded in 1997 as a joint stock company by the founder and entrepreneur of the late Mr. Mohammad Jafar Vatani.
